Redtorch is proud to introduce our new Marketing and Communications Manager Charlotte.

What attracted you to Redtorch?

The values, missions and goals of Redtorch align directly with mine. They appreciate that sport unites people in a special way, which is exactly what I believe, positioning their partners at the heart of everything they do. Not only do they have a knowledgeable and experienced team, who are sport-obsessed, creative communicators and strategic thinkers, but also deliver on all of these fronts ensuring that they send out personalised, relevant messages to their audiences.

What’s the best project you’ve ever worked on?

I organised and marketed a brand-oriented event at the Hurlingham Tennis Classic with the goal to entertain clients and private individuals to make them aware of what we do as a company. This in turn generated a great deal of business for the company and solidified partner relationships.

Why do you love Marketing?

Unlike a lot of industries, marketing is everywhere. It’s impossible to leave the house without seeing a marketing message. This immersive experience sparks my inner creative and makes me want to push boundaries of what is considered normal by creating specialised and relevant content leaving audiences wanting more.

Can you share your top Marketing tip?

Prioritise authenticity. It is important for brands to develop great strategies that build unique and authentic relationships with their audiences. Along the way, don’t be afraid to make mistakes! You’ll be surprised at how positively people will respond to everything you do.

How do you spend your spare time?

Scouting out bars and restaurants across London, travelling, BBQing in the summer, going to the Theatre, playing and watching sport. All with friends and family.

What’s your greatest sporting achievements?

I founded, captained and coached the Lacrosse Club at Roehampton University which is still thriving. I also captained the firsts Netball team that won the Universities Varsity Cup. In the same year, I was elected into the role of Sports President.

I currently captain two Netball teams a week, one of which has recently won the Hammersmith League.

If you could play one sport for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Netball.
