Join the team at Redtorch as our new Senior Campaign Manager…

The role calls for an experienced Campaign Manager, from an agency background, to join our team to lead the planning and delivery of campaigns and communications for some of the biggest organisations and brands in world sport.

The role includes developing communications briefs and plans across owned, paid and earned channels, and having oversight of all aspects of the campaign process, from strategy to execution to measurement.

You will be responsible for ensuring all campaigns hit client KPIs and objectives. A senior member of the team you will be expected to identify ways to improve processes, effectiveness, and the delivery of work.

A natural leader with a minimum 5 years’ agency experience, you will create and maintain strong relationships across the Agency, managing systems, processes and – most importantly – people.

Reporting to the Agency’s Strategy Director, the successful candidate will coordinate with other departments to ensure all aspects of every project are delivered to an exceptional standard. As we work in international sport you must be willing to occasionally work weekends or alternative hours subject to project requirements.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and execute integrated multi-channel marketing programs
  • Work with the Research & Insights team to develop a deep understanding of target customers, products and the customer journey
  • Write briefs that result in effective, world class creative work
  • Partner closely with the Creative and Production teams, outside agencies and freelancers to develop rich content that drives results
  • Continuously look to improve processes, effectiveness and the delivery of work, identifying potential issues and finding resolutions
  • Create content for digital channels, and channel management
  • Advocate for and sell in strategic and creative work in partnership with Account Director
  • Provide coaching support and guidance for day-to-day queries and issues raised by the existing team of Campaign Managers
  • Support new business development, analysing RFPs and composing internal briefs, leading creative sessions, build responses and comfortable pitching to clients

Qualifications, skills and experience

  • Qualified to degree level or equivalent professional qualification in Business or Marketing related discipline
  • Hands-on knowledge and experience of multi-channel campaigns, digital and content marketing
  • Minimum five years’ experience in developing campaign strategy development, planning, delivery and evaluation in a creative / marketing / digital agency
  • Deep expertise of paid media channels
  • Have a solid understanding of creative production processes
  • Strong understanding and experience of delivering online paid media.
  • Great collaboration skills working with data and creative teams on fast-moving projects to analyse and continuously improve campaign performance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Proven ability to own and grow client relationships
  • Strong skills across the MS office and Adobe suites
  • Ability to work independently and engage Directors where required
  • Experience and expertise in growing partnerships with sports organisations and brands
