Last week, Redtorch and the International Cricket Council (ICC) took part in a webinar panel hosted by Sheffield Hallam University and Global Sports.The aim? To share insights from industry experts with students hoping to build a career in sport.
Insights from the webinar will provide Sheffield Hallam MSc Sport Business Management students with the means to produce an international marketing communications plan as part of their course; it will also help international students with work in their home countries.
Redtorch CEO Jonny Murch and Strategy Director Chris Argyle-Robinson were joined by ICC Commercial General Manager, Campbell Jamieson. Under discussion were key topics such as digital content production and management and business development in emerging markets.
This was a great opportunity to inspire the next generation of business professionals to pursue a career in sport, and to provide the insight and tools to build one.
