Join Redtorch as our new Communications Manager
We’re after a qualified Communications Manager to oversee Redtorch’s internal and external communications to the B2B sports industry.
Specifically, the successful candidate will plan and deliver a mix of consistent and engaging communications to improve Redtorch’s long-term brand and short-term marketing performance.

Redtorch is an award-winning research, digital and social media agency trusted by the biggest brands in sport to grow and engage global audiences.
Our young yet experienced team is full of sport-obsessed data fanatics, strategic thinkers and creative communicators.
As a result of some incredibly exciting new business wins, we’re now on the hunt for someone to spread the word about us.
The agency world is a cluttered place so, in short: we want to shout (in the right way) from the rooftops about all things Redtorch: our people, our work, our culture.
This is a new role. The successful candidate will have the chance to build and take ownership of Redtorch communications to help drive the next period of agency growth.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver a mix of communications that improve Redtorch’s long-term brand and short-term marketing performance
- Work with leadership team to develop brand narrative
- Develop project action plans and delivery schedules, coordinating staff and suppliers to maximise key moments and activations across the year
- Manage and develop Redtorch communications including website, email and social channels
- Working with people across the business to identify and surface our great work, people and culture
- Writing, editing and production of all external communications
- Issuing press releases
- Proactive approach to generate coverage in industry press
- Management of any other tactics required to best position Redtorch within its target market
- Manage internal communications to ensure everyone across the business is aware and informed
Skills & requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ Communications experience – preferably within the world of sport
- MBA in Communications preferred
- Excellent understanding of the communications process
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid organisational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking skills
- Strong at media relations
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
