The International Canoe Federation (ICF) has appointed London-based digital communications agency REDTORCH to provide a foundation for its digital communications strategies that will engage and grow a global audience of elite and lifestyle paddlers.
REDTORCH will provide insights into ICF’s current and potential audiences, its digital platform and content performance, to support its ambitious new digital strategy.
The International Canoe Federation’s 2019 calendar includes several separate World Championships which include Olympic and Paralympic qualifiers. As the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo draw near, leverage of the preceding World Championship events is vital. Digital insights will support digital growth ambitions.
‘The sporting and digital landscape is constantly evolving,’ says ICF Digital Media Manager, Adam Collins. ‘It is our aim constantly to move forward. We are delighted to partner with REDTORCH, as we build useful, engaging and successful digital platforms, from the ICF website to our social Planet Canoe accounts, that create value for all paddlers.’
‘ICF’s vision to inspire people to pursue a lifelong passion for paddling directly aligns itself with REDTORCH’s aim of enabling sports organisations to share the experiences, opportunities and values sport can provide,’ explains REDTORCH CEO, Jonny Murch. ‘It’s very exciting to partner with a sport in such a crucial stage of its digital development.’
