Our March Round-Up

Welcome to another monthly round-up of the best sports creative on social media!

The European Athletics Indoor Championships in Glasgow and the F1 season kicking off in Australia marked another eventful month in the sporting calendar. But who nailed their creative in March?

The Top 5

1. Reebok

The month began with an impressive entry from Reebok: Storm the Court, a video that launched its SPORT THE UNEXPECTED campaign

Celebrating those who defy convention – and created by Venables Bell & Partners – it’s the first time Reebok has released an ad that combines their fashion brand with sports performance.

2. New York Yankees

#throwbackthursdays have been around for a while.

But why wait for a particular day to bring a sense of nostalgia to your creative campaigns? Evoking emotion can be difficult, but when executed well it works wonders bringing your fanbase together.

3. Wimbledon

Wimbledon is the epitome of the British sporting event and there’s always excitement surrounding the Grand Slam event in SW19

But it’s still important to ace your pre-event coverage …

Getting a campaign hashtag right is notoriously hard. Wimbledon’s #JoinTheStory is right on the button.

4. Freeride World Tour

Sometimes a sport speaks for itself. This was one of those moments.

5. IAAF

March was Women’s History Month and many rights holders took the opportunity to showcase some of sport’s incredible female talent.

The IAAF adopted a similar nostalgic feel to that of the New York Yankees as it celebrated women across the globe.

See you next month for our round-up of April’s best sports creatives!
