Redtorch is delighted to continue its partnership with the Association of National Olympic Committees (ANOC) on its ANOC Digital Accelerator programme.
The programme will provide NOCs with the knowledge and tools needed to improve their performance on social media. Redtorch first supported this initiative with the delivery of a Social Media Handbook and online webinars back in 2021.
With Paris 2024 on the horizon, ANOC wants this to be a key focus for NOCs, ensuring they are best equipped to maximise their social media performance in the build-up to, during, and after the Games.
Redtorch has enabled ANOC to achieve this by creating a Paris 2024 Social Media Handbook.
The Handbook provides a base from which NOCs can develop their Paris 2024 social media output. It offers key insights and tips based on NOC case studies to maximise content performance and community engagement within IOC guidelines. It also explains how NOCs can maintain their momentum and community engagement during quieter periods.
The Handbook was developed using two key resources:
Social Media Dashboard
- A public tool that NOCs can access easily to analyse their social media performance
- View social media dashboard here
Industry experts
- Redtorch has been ANOC’s supporting Research, Content & Creative agency since 2021. They are industry experts, with over 15 years of experience delivering global social media strategies and campaigns for some of the largest International Olympic Federations (IFs).
On Wednesday 15 May, Rozie Slack, Redtorch Digital & Social Media Manager, and Tom Lloyd-Evans, Redtorch Performance and Insights Manager, hosted an online webinar for 60+ NOCs to talk through the handbook key findings. The focus was on:
- How to maximise social media impact pre, during, and post Paris 2024
- Learnings gained from NOC social media performance at Tokyo 2020
- Industry tips to enhance social media strategies for Paris 2024
After the Games, Redtorch will provide ANOC with a full report reviewing the social media performance of all 206 NOCs during Paris 2024 and highlighting any insights/learnings for the future.
