#MyDreamJump took bronze in the Best Brand Activation Involving Sport category at last week’s Sports Business Awards ceremony. This incredibly ambitious campaign was created by Redtorch on behalf of the Federation Equestre Internationale (FEI) and their title sponsor Longines.

Our objective? To activate Longines’ sponsorship with the FEI by implementing a campaign that created a buzz in the equestrian world and added real value to the partnership.

The solution? A campaign that allowed fans to design their own equestrian jump.

The prize? One lucky winner would become part of the sport’s history by having their jump built at the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup Final – plus a VIP trip to witness the action. Runner-up prizes were also available for designs based on creativity and elegance.

Huge credit must go to all those involved in bringing the campaign to life. Getting fans to engage with any content is no small feat; attracting so many equestrians to dedicate time and effort to participate in the campaign was nothing short of inspirational.

The campaign smashed all its KPIs: 630 designs submitted, 6,722 votes cast, 87,000+ engagements, over 10.5m impressions. And the ultimate positive outcome was making the dream of the winner – Juna, a 13-year-old horse-mad girl from Slovenia – come true.

We’re thrilled by the remarkable level of fan engagement the Longines #MyDreamJump campaign achieved. This collaboration with Redtorch not only ignited the imagination of the equestrian community but also effectively showcased the Longines brand to thousands of engaged fans across the globe.

The FEI worked alongside Redtorch who, with their extensive experience in fan engagement projects, played a pivotal role in bringing the Longines #MyDreamJump Challenge to life. The project is a good example of what can transpire when sport, art and Creative Agencies with unique ideas come together.
