Redtorch was tasked with increasing awareness of SWANS prescription goggles across the UK. SWANS are a Japanese aquatics brand and the first brand in the world to make prescription goggles.


SWANS had the following objectives: ​

1. Increase brand awareness of SWANS ​
2. Increase brand consideration of SWANS ​
3. Increase sales of prescription googles


Redtorch conducted market research which found that 68% of UK adult swimmers with poor vision would swim more if they wore prescription goggles. ​

A multi-platform campaign with the tagline SWANS – clearly the best was developed and delivered in the UK. ​

Redtorch secured the services of six actors with eyesight challenges, and filmed them swimming, with real reactions to using Swans goggles for the first time. We edited and produced social vide content and ran 18 highly-targeted mini campaigns with creative advertising sequencing via a variety of advertising formats. ​

To support higher levels of brand awareness and trust a mix of high-quality blogs, athlete interviews, training and nutritional advice were also created.
